A&F is a collaborative fashion exhibition by Amira Behbehani and Fulaij Al Fulaij showcasing wearable art. The garments displayed take inspiration from major fashion houses. A&F succeed in evolving Middle Eastern design aesthetics to an inspirational and innovative place, paying respect to the culture and heritage of the Middle East. Global diversity is achieved in this exhibition through the use of historical designs and textiles. Artistic diversity is championed through the fostering and support of the combination of skills and craftsmanship that go into garment construction, fashion design, pattern making and embroidery. The garments showcased act as a soft sculpture - being a piece of art; as well as practical clothing.
