This exhibition bears witness to the convergence of artistry and activism, through the voices of those who stand in solidarity with Palestine. Through the lens of two distinct yet interconnected artworks, “Eve Stands for Palestine” and “Juthoor,” we are invited to observe and experience a poignant journey of defiance and resilience. With each brushstroke, floral placement and built structure, the artists amplify their stance, proclaiming allegiance and support to Palestine and denouncing the injustices perpetrated by the Zionist occupation. As we immerse ourselves in the narratives woven within these artworks, we are reminded of the indomitable spirit that courses through the veins of Palestine. Through art and unwavering determination, we honor the resilience of a people who continue to stand tall amidst adversity. A free Palestine, from the river to the sea, is free of injustice. In the words of Dr. Salman Abu Sitta, the inalienable rights of Palestinians are “Sacred, legal, possible and inevitable”. The artists included are Ghada Alkandari, Manmade Studio (Jassim F. AlNashmi & Maha Alessa) and from nothingness (Yousif Abdulsaid).

يشهد هذا المعرض على التقارب بين الفن والحراك المدني، من خلال أصوات المتضامنين مع فلسطين. من خلال عدسة عملين فنيين متميزين ومترابطين، “حواء تقف من أجل فلسطين، راية 2024” و”جذور”، يدعو العمل الفني مراقبة رحلة مؤثرة من التحدي والصمود. ومع كل لمسة فرشاة، وترتيب زهور، يضخم الفنانون موقفهم، ويعلنون ولائهم دعمهم للنضال الفلسطيني للتحرير، ويدينون الظلم الذي يرتكبه الاحتلال الصهيوني. وبينما ننغمس في الروايات المنسوجة داخل هذه الأعمال الفنية، نتذكر الروح التي لا تقهر والتي تسري في عروق فلسطين. ومن خلال الفن والتصميم الذي لا يتزعزع، نكرم صمود الشعب الذي يواصل الوقوف شامخًا وسط الشدائد. فلسطين حرة، من النهر إلى البحر، بعد ان تخلو من الظلم. وعلى حد تعبير الدكتور سلمان أبو ستة، فإن حقوق الفلسطينيين غير قابلة للتصرف او التجزئة وهي “مقدسة وقانونية وممكنة ولا مفر منها” الفنانون المتضمنون هم غادة الكندري، جاسم ف. النشمي ومها العيسى، يوسف عبدالسيد
