Dar Maryam Museum Welcomes International Women Group in Pre-Opening Visit

The International Women – Kuwait group visited the soon-to-open Dar Maryam Museum, gaining an exclusive preview of the artistic world of renowned Kuwaiti sculptor Sami Mohammed. The visit included a tour of his major works reflecting Kuwaiti heritage, identity, and humanity. The group presented a commemorative shield to Marika Kochlamazashvili, wife of the Georgian Ambassador, in appreciation of the museum’s hospitality. Organized by the Contemporary Art Platform, the event also featured an introduction by stage actress Ophelia Vardanian, highlighting the stories behind the museum’s nearly 1,000 artworks. Named in honor of the artist’s late mother, Dar Maryam celebrates love, culture, and Kuwait’s artistic legacy.
