Presented as part of the Italian Design Festival in Kuwait, A Gaze Elsewhere. Visions from a Moving Memory is a solo exhibition organized by the Contemporary Art Platform, the Embassy of Italy, and the Italian Art & Design Studio, featuring the work of Milanese painter and architect Federico Fiorentini. Blending figuration with abstraction, Fiorentini reinterprets everyday urban landscapes—such as streets and facades—into poetic reflections on the intersections of memory, movement, and perception. The exhibition offers a contemplative visual dialogue between light, architecture, and emotion, inviting viewers to experience ordinary spaces transformed through delicate tones and the shifting lens of recollection.
